LOGO + WEB REDESIGN | SYNCFY | JANUARY 2014

00. The briefing:

Syncfy is an online application that lets you coordinate multiple property rental portals. So if you have a flat that you rent in several websites you can use just make reservations on their calendar and they’ll automatically update all rest.
When they contacted me the website was half designed. They were doing the design by themselves but they wanted some designer help and advice so I joined in. I did my best to respect the core ideas while trying to improve the looks and user experience as much as I could.

01. Redesigning:

01.01. The logo was in a nice synthony with the typografy used and kept it simple and explicative. But one of the biggest selling points of Syncfy is its practicality and I really wanted it to show on the logo, so I deformed it to give an impression of modern and practical, highlighting that you can just grab your iPad anytime and start scheduling right  away. It also fits better with the shape of the text, and on the left border of the website.

01.02. Other changes were made on the layout of the existing sections of the website in order to make it cleaner and more intuitive. I also ditched the orange as a corporate color, because we agreed that there had never been a point for it in the first place.

02. New design:

Most of the site was mostly built from the ground. Here are some of the  screens:
